Being in a relationship is great, but it isn’t the stick by which anyone is measured, and being single isn’t some sickness to be cured by finding The One. It’s perfectly fine to be all by yourself…but there are some days you wonder what it would be like to have someone who always has your back. If you’ve lamented over the fact that you’re single at least once (okay, maybe more than once), you might be able to relate to the trailer for #Jowable, which asks where your future partner is, and if they’re really out there.
Elsa, played by Kim Molina, is assured by folks around her that she’s worthy of being someone’s girlfriend (or jowable), she just hasn’t met anyone worthy of being her partner yet. She continuously rants about the lack of romantic love (and sexual satisfaction) in her life, and she seeks advice from everywhere and everyone just to appease her soul. Despite her lighthearted and comedic approach to it, she remains hopeful that she will eventually meet The One. Directed by Darryl Yap, the movie also stars comedians Cai Cortez, Kakai Bautista, and Chad Kinis.
